I just haven’t felt like knitting much lately! (maybe it’s the warmer weather?) But I recently picked up this ultra-soft cloud blue baby alpaca & started knitting a slouchy hat.

Also, a couple more minutes in on my floral painting. I’ve been devoting 10 minutes here or there so I don’t ever get bored of it.

  1. Your photos are always so beautiful and inspiring. πŸ™‚ I love the look of that hat so far (it looks so soft! very cloudy), and the painting-in-progress is just lovely.

  2. You know a yarn has to be soft when you can actually *see* the softness in a photo. It looks so cozy! The painting is beyond gorgeous, and it's awesome to get to see it in progress. Thanks for sharing!

  3. That such lovely yarn, how could you not want to knit with it? I totally understand, I usually switch to summer knits when it gets this warm. Love how the painting is coming along!

  4. I've definitely noticed a shift in my crafting as the weather improves. I knit all summer long, but right now, I'm reaching for sewing over knitting a lot more than I would typically.

  5. Ooooo, that yarn looks as soft as a cloud – lovely! And your drawing is wonderful! I think flowers are tiresomely difficult to draw. Actually, your drawing looks a lot like a jar of fresh cut roses I just put on my kitchen table. I'm so excited to be getting some cutting roses from the back yard!

  6. I love slouchy hats, and the yarn looks incredibly soft. I love the colors too.

You're a talented lady; I love the painting in progress. I'll have to show it to my eight-year old daughter. Who know, it might inspire her. She loves seeing other artists work. My daughter loves to create pictures, and is very talented. I can draw whatever I see, but she pulls pictures out of her head.
